Orlando is often seen as the theme park capital of the United States. While this is true, Orlando has so much to offer above and beyond the theme parks. Its pulsating downtown, lush neighborhoods, and rich cultural tapestry beckon residents and visitors alike to explore and settle. Let’s take a quick look at Orlando together, and explore the Orlando outside of the parks.

Downtown Orlando: At the heart of the city, Downtown Orlando is not just a business hub but also a dynamic nightlife and cultural destination. The iconic Lake Eola, with its picturesque swan boats and fountain, offers a serene escape in the midst of urban bustle.
Winter Park: A charming suburb with cobblestone streets, Winter Park boasts the famous Park Avenue, lined with boutique shops, cafes, and the Morse Museum, housing the world’s largest collection of Tiffany glass.
Celebration: Originally developed by The Walt Disney Company, Celebration is a master-planned community exuding nostalgia with its vintage architecture and idyllic setting.
Things To Do

Of course, like most major cities, the Orlando area is not just the city of Orlando. Other cities flank all sides of the downtown area!
Kissimmee
Kissimmee is known for it’s old town and nature parks, offering a unique experience to those new to the area.
Old Town: A throwback to a simpler time, Old Town is a recreation of a classic Florida town, with weekly car shows, amusement rides, and a variety of unique shops.

Sanford:

Well, I’m glad you asked! Obviously, Orlando is a good fit for people who like to work in parks, but there is another major job sector located in the area: Tech. The city is very quickly becoming a hub in the US for technology companies, and it is the fastest growing city for IT talent. Companies like Electronic Arts, Lockheed Martin, and KPMG all have major offices in the city. If you’re in tech, chances are someone is hiring in the area, paving the way for your move to paradise!
